Waitara Christmas Parade
Join the parade with our 'Night Before Christmas' themed dragon boat!
On Saturday 10 December 2011: Waitara Christmas Parade. Gathering from 8.30am at Carol Shenton's house, 32 Memorial Place, Waitara (same street as Waitara War Memorial Hall and nearly opposite it). Oranga Pai will be decorated then, ready for being towed in the big parade which starts at 10am. As many paddlers as possible to walk beside the dragonboat carrying paddles, so wear team clothes if you have them. For more details, contact Trish/Maureen at 7547357. It's a great idea to wear some walking shoes - it's a walk around the shop block and don't forget the sunblock. We do expect to win a prize...no pressure!
